We will be playing another charity hockey game for, "Care for Our Troops." Here are the details:

Date: Friday, March 18th
Time: 6:30PM
Place: Fitzpatrick Arena (Holyoke)
Admission: Free (Donations would be appreciated)

Care for Our Troops Charity Hockey Game

Thank you to all attended the charity hockey game against Holyoke on January 21ST. We were able to raise over $500 for the Care for Our Troops Charity. We won the game 8-1. Skating for our team were: Jay Balut, Brian Lepage (Chicopee PD), Pete Jerusik, Mike Croteau, Jim Pijar, Chris Galindo (CPD), Adam Anischek, Paul Jerusik, Dave Brown and Scott Russo. We hope to have more games in the future. We will keep you posted.

Successful Drive for Soldier On

Today we were able to send a full box truck with supplies and clothes for veterans in need. Many thanks to the community and our members for their generous donations. They will be put to good use.

Soldier On Drive

Our local is proud to support the Soldier On Program. We will be collecting lightly used clothing and needed items for soldiers in transition at the VA Hospital in Leeds. Please see the attached "needs list" for more information.
We are proud to be doing this with the help of the City of Chicopee. Items may be dropped off at any of the stations or city hall until December 10th. Also they may be donated at the tree lighting ceremony Friday, December 3rd at City Hall. The event begins at 4:30PM.

MDA Fill The Boot

Thanks again to all the firefighters who volunteered their time and to everyone who donated this year. We raised over $5,000 which we brought to the Telethon in September and donated to the MDA. See our Photo Gallery for more pictures.
