The date has been set for this year's Scholarship Golf Tournament.
Friday October 8th
Chicopee Country Club
9AM Shotgun Start
8:15AM Registration
The meal and banquet will take place immediately after at the Rumbleseat Bar and Grille. If you would like more info on playing or sponsoring the tournament please contact Pete Jerusik ASAP (413) 335-7640 or pjerusik@yahoo.com. Last year's tournament sold out early!!! Below are two attachments. You can download and print either out at your convenience. One is a flyer for the tourney and the other is a flyer for sponsors interesting in helping out.

Fundraiser

Once again the Chicopee Fire Ice Hockey team will take part in a couple hockey games. Both Games will take place at Holyoke's Fitzpatrick Arena. Here are the details:
Game One
Friday, March 5th against Holyoke Fire at 6:30PM
Voluntary Contributions collected at this game will go to the Children's Burn Center
Game Two
Saturday, March 13th against West Side Fire at 4PM
Voluntary Contributions collected by George Murphy will go to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen
There will most likely be after game get togethers after each game. More info on that in the future. Come out and support your brothers. It is a fun and family friendly event.

Looking for something to do with the kids! Come meet the Alpacas and this years new babies.
Join us for our open farm tour hosted by farmer and fellow brother Howard Beaudry.
We will be serving hot cocoa, coffee and cider as well as Lisa's famous alpaca cookies.
Directions: Exit 24 off I-91 North. Take a left onto route 5 & 10 South, at the yellow flashing light(approx. 1 mile) turn left onto Christian Lane. North East Alpacas is 7/10th of a mile on the left.

MDA Fill The Boot

Thanks again to all the firefighters who volunteered their time and to everyone who donated this year. We raised over $5,000 which we brought to the Telethon in September and donated to the MDA. See our Photo Gallery for more pictures.

Softball Game

Fire vs. Police Softball Game

During the Chicopee Fest Of All, at Szot Park, the Fire Department played the Police Department in a Softball game. Luckily, the weather was perfect and plenty of players and fans showed on both sides.
Although the Police started strong and carried an 8-4 lead into the seventh inning, Fire finished the game with an 11-8 victory, thanks to a Grand Slam Homerun by Firefighter Abel Gagnon. The Fire Department had a wide range of players, from new hires to our veteran softball players with over 20 years on the job.
Hopefully this will become an annual event at the Chicopee Fest Of All.
